Solar Technologies was recently recognized by Solar Power World for its installation success and ranked on the 2022 Top Solar Contractors list. While supply chain interruptions and tariff investigations plagued many industries, the U.S. solar industry saw record solar and energy storage demand in 2021.
Solar Power World develops the Top Solar Contractors list each year to honor the work of solar installers across the country. Commercial, residential and utility solar companies are ranked by number of kilowatts installed in the previous year.
“The utility-scale solar market, of course, puts up huge installation numbers each year, but the majority of workers in the industry are constructing projects in the commercial and residential markets, which continue to break records,” said Kelly Pickerel, editor in chief of Solar Power World. “More than 85% of the companies on the 2022 Top Solar Contractors List work in the residential and commercial sectors, and they all reported closing out the last year in a positive light.”
With the help of more than 70 hard-working team members, Solar Technologies installed 6,566.59 KW of solar power in 2021. As SunPower’s exclusive Bay Area Master Dealer, Solar Technologies has installed 50,542 kW of solar and more than 75,000 solar power systems for homeowners, business owners and organizations in the Santa Cruz, San Jose, San Ramon and Fresno area markets.
