We used Bay Area SunShares to explore the option of going solar (they host online seminars which we learned a lot). Solar Technologies is one of the three pre-vetted solar providers. We ended up picking Solar Technologies because two main reasons, 1. Sunpower panels, 2. Nick who answered gazillion questions from us...
Everyone including the onsite and in office staff shows that customer satisfaction is their priority. Now we enjoyed looking up how much electricity being produced by our new system, 15 SunPower X22 panels. it is producing 35kwh on sunny days. The production not only depends on the size of the system but also sun exposure of the roof. Overproducing in summer months, the opposite in the rainy season.

The wait from my order to the install was long (7 months) because they are so busy but the were upfront with the time estimate and gave me frequent updates.

The bid was exactly the same as the final cost, the cash back offer was honored, and the tax credit was super easy to apply on our tax return.
