Solar Technologies Adds Solyndra to Their Commercial Product Line

Solar Technologies announces the expansion of its commercial product offering with Solyndra PV Systems. Headquartered in Fremont, California, Solyndra systems are designed to provide a low installed cost per system with a high solar electrical energy output for low slope commercial rooftops.

Solar Technologies, headquartered in Santa Cruz, California with an office in the Silicon Valley of San Jose, is now an authorized dealer for Solyndra products. Solar Technologies is known for its diversity in products, including being a Premier Dealer for SunPower and offering Mitsubishi and Sanyo PV panels as well as SMA and Solectria inverters. This  multidimensional line offers a variety of options for residential, industrial and commercial sectors.

Solyndra's panels employ cylindrical modules which capture sunlight across a 360-degree photovoltaic surface capable of converting direct, diffuse and reflected sunlight into electricity. Designed to capture more sunlight than flat panel models that must be mounted at an angle and spaced apart to prevent inter row shading, the Solyndra panels provide more surface per roof area. Solyndra is a non-penetrating, non-ballasted system, which significantly reduces installation costs.
