Solar Power Financing

Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

By subscribing to a PPA you can reduce your electric bills at no capital cost to you. You don't spend a penny. A third party (LLC group of investors) will buy the solar power system and put it on top of your building. You buy your power at an agreed upon, long-term fixed rate from this third party via a power purchase agreement.

These investors want to own the solar power system long enough to take advantage of these great tax benefits:

  • 30% federal tax credit
  • 5-year accelerated depreciation allowance

After the 6th year, you have buy-back options at a fraction of what the investors paid.

10 Year Lease With Buy-Out Options

Your lease agreement is structured so that your payments are lower than your utility payments in the beginning. The payments are escalated at the current utility escalation rate over 10 years (and your electric payments continue to be lower than your current utility payments.)

You own the solar power system after 10 years with a pre-negotiated buy-out payment. Solar power panels come with a 25-year warranty and last much longer than that. After your lease period, you still have assets that are saving you a lot of money for years.

100% Financing

We offer 100% financing on smaller commercial solar power systems.
Please visit our partner, Clean Power Finance to see if this is a viable option for you.

Why Is This Important?

Your electric rates will continue to rise. Historically, PG&E has had a 5% per year commercial rate escalation for the last 20 years. Since January 2006, there have been 5 rate increases, largely unpublicized.

You can protect your business from these rate escalations by choosing to go with solar power, at no additional cost to you.

What Happens Next?

After you call us, we will come to your business at no charge and we will:

Analyze your current electric usage. We will need one years' worth of your utility history.
Analyze your property to determine where the solar power system can be installed.
Give you a quotation showing how much you can save by installing a solar power system.

You will see what is the most feasible financing option for your business. You'll find that it's a lot easier to go solar and start saving money right away. You won't have do to the paperwork either, we handle all the paperwork and permitting. We'll help you make the transition easily to clean, inexpensive solar electricity.
